So thankful to all of the brilliant minds who made it possible to received the COVID-19 vaccine today. Am I afraid of side effects? No I trust the science and the safety data. In just 3 weeks when I get my second shot, I know I will be protected 95% If I get COVID at that point, it will most likely be mild. I will still wear a mask unless I am with my immediate family because it will still protect those around me if I do catch a mild case. I am far more afraid of short and long term consequences of COVID than an issue with a vaccine. I encourage any of you who have the opportunity to get vaccinated to please do it.
