Inside communities
When people think of VFV, they often picture our online work—like our newsletter and free online courses.
But we’ve also rolled up our sleeves with coalition partners to make a difference on the ground:
- Tabling at community events in states like Iowa, Louisiana, and Virginia, bringing vaccine education directly to families.
- Collaborating with coalitions in Kansas, Colorado, and others to engage diverse cultural brokers and trusted messengers.
- Leading National Immunization Awareness Month outreach, amplifying voices and fostering public trust.

Personal outreach
Our work thrives on empathy, trust, and the connections we build. This year, we’ve:
- Trained more than 1300 Vax Ambassadors, equipping them to inspire vaccine confidence in their communities.
- Share two to three personal stories each month on our blog, highlighting real people’s journeys through vaccine-preventable diseases, medical vulnerabilities, or overcoming hesitancy.
- Partnered with organizations like Families Fighting Flu to create a practical vaccine clinic toolkit.
New horizons
We’ve made incredible strides, but there’s still so much work to do. Routine vaccinations are lagging, disease outbreaks loom, and new vaccines are emerging. With your help, we’re ready to meet these challenges head-on.
